Tinubu/Shettima: Kwara First Lady Inaugurates North Central Women Campaign Team

On November 11, the team was officially launched in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, by Ambassador Dr. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, the First Lady of Kwara State and Coordinator of the North Central Zone of the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Team.

During the inauguration event, Ambassador Abdulrazaq exhorted team members to remain dedicated to the objective of delivering a resounding victory for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima, as well as the other candidates in the zone, in the upcoming elections.

A work plan was announced at the event to direct the team after preparations during a prior Zoom conference. The workplan also included techniques to be used in the campaigns, such as door-to-door outreach, town hall meetings, and grassroots education, among others.

But the Zonal Coordinator expressed gratitude to His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC leadership for promoting gender equality by forming the Women Presidential Campaign Team, which now has more than a thousand members.

Amb. Dr. Abdulrazaq also praised the Chairperson Senator Dr. Oluremi Tinubu and Co-Chairperson Hajia Nana Shettima for their excellent leadership and honored the Women Presidential Campaign Team’s grand patron, Dr. Aisha Buhari, First Lady of Nigeria.

Princess Zahra Audu, the leader of the North Central Zonal Women, had earlier praised the North Central Zonal Coordinator and given her assurance that the region’s women will unite in favor of Tinubu/administration. Commissioners, female leaders from around the zone, candidates, their spouses, aspirants, PCC and PCT members, contact and mobilization team members, and others attended the event.
