Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been described as a visionary, patient, considerate, focused and humane leader who means well for his people. The Senator representing Kwara North senatorial district in the National Assembly, Senator Suleiman Sadiq Umar extolled the virtues of the governor in Ilorin today. He made the assertion while receiving the board members of the Kwara State Television Authority who paid him a courtesy visit at “Kwara North House” ,Fate road , Ilorin in continuation of the board’s visit to critical stake holders in the Nigerian project by extension Kwara State. The Senator who disclosed that the Governor has endeared himself to many Kwarans given his quality service and impressive score card of performance in less than four years in office.He then urged Kwarans to be patient with the progressive administration which he said is poised to transform Kwara for good. While pledging his continued support for the AA administration, the distinguished senator promised the good people of Kwara North quality representation in the Red Chambers of the national assembly. He commended Kwara TV for the noticeable transformation being witnessed in the station. He promised to assist the station in fixing its challenges.
Speaking earlier, Board chairman, Alhaji Hameed Adio praised the Senator for his quality representation, sponsorship of bills most of which have been passed into law and construction of constituency projects/,interventions in health, education, agriculture, water, roads and human capital development including skills acquisition, training, empowerment and employment at LGA, State and Federal levels. Alhaji Adio then solicited the assistance of Senator in provision of basic working tools such as cameras and vehicles. which he said will go a long way in helping the station render more quality services to the good people of Kwara State adding that the government alone cannot provide all the needs of the populace .On the sideline, the Kwara TV board chairman remarked that what the senator’s name (SSU) stands for is SOLIDARITY, SERVICE AND UNITY which bind the people. Kwara North senatorial district is made up of Moro, Edu, Patigi, Baruten and Kaiama LGA’s.
