Senator Oyelola Ashiru’s Free Medical Outreach Extends To More Local Governments In Kwara South, His Wife To Commission Renovated and Equipped New Born/Labour Ward in Share Health Centre Today

A free medical outreach program for residents of the Ekiti local government area in the KWARA South Senatorial district was made possible by Senator Oyelola Ashiru. It was made possible by the Chairman of the Traditional Rulers Council in the Ekiti local government and Olosi of Osi, His Royal Highness Oba Salihu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku 1, people with disabilities, and others.

His Royal Highness Oba Salihu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe received a normal medical examination, including a blood pressure test, from Senator Oyelola Ashiru’s assistant, Olaitan Adeyanju, and the medical team on Tuesday at the palace where they were paying tribute to the Olosi of Osi.

The traditional leader prayed for the group and praised the lawmaker for his efforts to address health issues.

The medical team, which included doctors and nurses, then relocated to the Basic Health Centre in Osi, where they provided free medical care to hundreds of individuals, including the elderly, women, and persons with disabilities.

Antenatal Care, Pelvic Inflammatory Diseases, Malaria, Peptic Ulcer Diseases, and Arthritis are just a few of the medical services provided.

During the Free Medical Outreach, which was organized by Senator Arch Oyelola Ashiru of Kwara South, free medications were also given to patients with hypertension, diabetes, and vision problems.

The remainder of the medications were given to the health center, according to our correspondent who watched the exercise.

Some of the recipients thanked Senator Ashiru for bringing the free medical outreach to their community and noted that many people were touched by the kind deed.

The free medical outreach will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the Basic Health Center in Babalonma, Ifelodun local government area.

Similarly, today, Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 9am, the senator’s wife, Hajia Rukkyat Ashiru, will dedicate the newly renovated and equipped New Born and Labor Ward at Basic Health Centre, Share in the Ifelodun Local Government Area.
