Senator Oyelola Ashiru: The Pride of Offa Bringing Goodies To Kwara South

Architect Oyelola Yisa Ashiru hails from popular Popo compound in Shawo Central ward of Offa local government area. The successful architect and politician has made his mark housing sector, business and politics. The Senator representing Kwara South fondly called Lola Ashiru is a pride of Offa.

Senator Oyelola Ashiru has consistently exhibits virtues of good character, excellent performance, dedication and commitment which are common traits of Offa Indigenes. He has excelled in his chosing career and making impacts as the representative of seven local government areas in Kwara South.

Senator Ashiru in the last three years has been fulfilling his promise of bringing good representation to the people through legislation, oversight function, facilitation of projects and implementing sustainable empowerment programmes to provide succour to the needy in his constituency.

He is giving people to smile by meeting his constituents at the point of needs and addressing challenges facing different communities in the Senatorial district.

People of Offa are feeling the taste of Democratic dividends through road construction, installation of Solar powered street lights, construction of classrooms in some schools, building/equipping of maternity centre. Offa Indigenes continue to pray for Senator Ashiru for building cozy apartment for a widow in the ancient town. Also, thousands of people in Offa have benefited from various empowerment programmes initiated by the good seed sow in 2019 by voting APC enmass.

Ashiru is a pride of Offa and he attracted federal government presence to other six local government areas within Kwara South. Oyun local government gets boreholes, Classrooms and standard Agroforestry Training Centre located in Ijagbo. Recall that 130 youths and women participated in Agroforestry Training organised in 2019.

He is also touching constituent’s lives positively in Ifelodun local government with water provision in Babanloma, Amoyo, Owode-ofaro and Shekun-Owode, construction of maternity centre at Durosoto, installation of 500KVA transformers in Idofian and Amoyo while Omupo and Omugo get Solar powered street lights. He also facilitated classrooms construction in Oro-Ago, supply of equipment to Oke-ode PHC and Vocational Training Center in Igbaja.

Similarly, the goodies are being spread across Irepodun local government in form of roads, boreholes in Egudu, Igbonla and Iludun Oro, transformer for Oro town, equipment supply to Arandun PHC and ultra modern Vocational Training Center in Omu-Aran.

It’s exciting to know that Isin local government is not left out of Senator Ashiru’s all-inclusive distribution of projects and empowerment programmes as hundreds of women, widow and aged benefited from business capital support scheme while Isanlu-isin PHC also received attention in addition to ongoing Vocational Training Center in Oke-Onigbin.

The rave of the moment in Kwara South has uses his office to bring different forms of development to Obbo-Ile, Kajola, Ilale, Osi, Eruku, Ejiu, Etan, Owu fall, Obo-Aiyegunle, Araromi-Opin and other communities in Ekiti and Oke-ero local government areas.

Senator Oyelola Ashiru has changed the narrative of representation via equitable distribution of projects based on community’s priority. He is therefore making life better for his constituents and opening rural communities to more development. Senator Oyelola Yisa Ashiru delivered meaningful projects in the last three years and more impactful projects will be executed in 2022 fiscal year.
