Senator Lola Ashiru, representing Kwara South senatorial district, has taken a significant step towards bolstering tourism in the region with a visit to Imole Boja Shelter Rock, a prominent cave situated in Kajola town within Oke-Ero Local Government Area.

He made this known on his social media platforms yesterday 29th of March 2024.

Accompanied by a dedicated construction team, Senator Lola Ashiru conducted an extensive on-site assessment, marking the commencement of a comprehensive feasibility study for the proposed tourism infrastructure development.

The ambitious project aims to transform Imole Boja Shelter Rock into a premier tourist destination by establishing a state-of-the-art recreation and sports center.
However, this facility will encompass two five-a-side football pitches, an astroturf, a volleyball court, a children’s playground, a sit-out area, a pavilion, and meticulous landscaping.
