Olaitan Waheed (Oyun TIC chairman)lead council to a special prayer for the re-election of Mallam Abdurahaman Abdulrasaq and all the APC candidate in the coming election, yesterday monaday , 17th, October, 2022. Clerics* from both Islamic and Christian faiths were invited to offer prayers for the success of the election
Delivering his key note shortly after the prayers Hon waheed olaitan ibrahim, TIC chairman in Oyun LGA of Kwara State.commended the leadership of the party in the various wards, Local Government executives state executives present for their steadfastness and charge them to be united under the leadership of Hon Kamar Akanbi. He pledged to deliver the unanimous resolutions of APC Oyun to His Excellency and also admonished the party to remain one indivisible entity.
Oyun APC party chairman reemphasized the important of re-elect the working Governor and all party candidate, in his word, “it is God Almighty that made Abdurahaman Abdulrasaq the Governor, hence the need for us to support and re-elect God’s work” *He concluded that all Kwarans from all walks of life must put all hands on the deck to elect all the party candidates.
In the same vein APC LG vice chaiman Hon. Mohammed Saliu Adebayo, APC LG Secretary Hon.Gabriel Odogun,LG youth leader Bankole Sheriff and chaiman of Oyun ward chairmen Mallam Aburi collectively give very strong assurance that the leadership of the party in Oyun shall not betray the confidence that His Excellency has in them .
