Our attention have been drawn to the false information going round social media platforms on the Free Transportation of Kwara Students to some thirteen Northern State in the Country for resumption following the much awaited suspension of ASUU Strike
The National Association of Kwara State Students NAKSS is disassociating itself from such false and malicious impressions that our members were Stranded and didn’t benefit from the Transport succor of the Kwara State Government to relieve our parents
Contrary to the views on individual payment of transport fares, We like to emphasize that the Transportation of our members was free of charge, all expenses on the trip were taken care by the State Government, none of us paid a dime, as all arrangement in respect to the trip was settled by the Government of Kwara State
We also like to State categorically that all false information going round social media platforms is meant to Sabotage the efforts and Goodwill of Mallam Abdulraman Abdulrasaq led Administration
On behalf of the National Association of Kwara State Students NAKKS, we appreciate our Amiable Governor, the life patron NAKSS Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the Giant strides and the Goodwill extended to the Students Community through the Ministry of Tertiary Education under the capable watch of an erudite scholar cum politician- Hon. (Dr.) Afees Abolore Alabi. A development which is first of its kind in Kwara State.
We like to reiterate our absolute loyalty and unflitching support to the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led Administration.
On a final note, we wish our students an interesting sojourn in their institutions, just as we urge them to be good ambassadors of the state and not be found wanting in their academics as well as other ventures. We are glad that they are back in school and look forward to welcoming them back home.
As always, we are vested with the protection of the interests of our students and warn detractors to stick their noses elsewhere, as we thread the path of more glorious achievements.
