A group of young members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the umbrella of Kwara Youth Caucus today joined a House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of the party, Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi to welcome decampees from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The reception for the new decampees, which was held at centre igboro, the ward of Hajia Maryam Yusuf Aladi, was witnessed by several stakeholders, including the Chairman and other executive members of the party from the ward.
A statement signed by Alhaji Oriyomi Yusuf Atanda and Comrade Sa’ad Ismail, Chairman and Secretary of the Kwara Youth Caucus respectively said the PDP decampees assured the House of Assembly aspirant that they left their former party to offer her the needed support to win the election.
