This conflict, stemming from a longstanding unresolved land dispute, has led to recurring attacks and counterattacks between the two communities.

The House, after a thorough debate and consideration of the matter, passed resolutions urging the Governor to intervene promptly. Measures include deploying armed security personnel to Obbo-Aiyegunle Community to maintain peace, facilitating dialogue between stakeholders of both communities, and seeking official demarcation of the boundary by the National Boundary Commission.

Additionally, the House urged cooperation between the Kwara and Ekiti State governments to ensure the immediate release of detained individuals connected to the dispute, fostering peaceful coexistence among residents.

The Assembly adjourned its session, highlighting its commitment to addressing urgent issues impacting the welfare and security of Kwara State residents.
