On the 8th day of September, Buckingham Palace in a statement divulged the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, at age of 96. She held the record for the longest reigning monarch in the history of the United Kingdom.
In the event that the queen should pass away, it is widely believed that Prince Charles, the eldest of the queen’s four children with her late husband, Prince Philip, will succeed her as monarch.

Beginning in 1952, he served as heir, duke of Cornwall and duke of Rothesay, and he was also known as Charles Philip Arthur George.
Since July of that year, he has held the title of heir apparent, making him the oldest and most long-serving heir apparent in the history of the United Kingdom.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cambridge, King Charles III spent the years 1971 until 1976 serving in the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy. Clarence House is a British royal residence located on The Mall in London. After their marriage in 2005, Prince Charles and Camilla, who later became known as the Duchess of Cornwall, lived together in Clarence House. On the other hand, it is anticipated that they will relocate to Buckingham Palace now that he is king. Charles’ two sons have blessed him with five grandchildren in total.
Charles and Camilla, 75, are also expected to be coronated side-by-side, per Elizabeth’s request that Camilla becomes queen consort – the title given to the wife of a reigning king.
