The launch of Kwapreneur last year was a demonstration of our commitment to the Kwaran youth to be their own bosses. Our administration is determined to put their hands to good use and take it away from thuggery. So far, Kwapreneur has been a huge success. We supported close to 200 growing businesses with up to N3,000,000 each. Such support set a new record in the history of our state.
We are already seeing the result of our investment in our youths: jobs are being created, wealth generated, and taxes being paid. We are not resting on our achievements. Kwapreneur 2.0 is coming up; this time, we will be supporting businesses by our youths with grants that they can use to scale up their businesses and make deserving progress in life.
*Ours are not mere theoretical ideas of how young people can become great. We are demonstrating just how that is possible now. We will continue to do what we can to make sure our state does not return to the days of “Good boys” where young minds were used by selfish politicians to unleash mayhem on the state and advance hegemonic rule.
