As part of the results of the CEMP program of ENetSuD, the Senator representing the Kwara North Senatorial District, Sadiq Umar, has facilitated the construction of school for the people of Aroyehun and sounding villages in Moro LGA.

The community had earlier benefited from solar-powered borehole and toilet from the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority (LNRBDA) as facilitated by ENetSuD.

Recently, the village also benefitted from Solar streetlight from LNRBDA through ENetSuD partnetship.

Aroyehun and many other communities that will benefit from this new school are among so many communities that do not have easy access to school, thereby increasing the number of out-of-school children in the state.

ENetSuD’s lobby to Senator Sadiq Umar was made possible by the MD of Lower Niger River Basin (Dr. Adeniyi Aremu), who used his good office to engage the Senator on ENetSuD’s findings and request for the community.

ENetSuD appreciates the Senator for listening and meeting the yearning of the communities.
