The Chairman of APC Kwara State, Prince Sunday Fagbemi on behalf of the Kwara APC family has expressed condolences over the death of father of Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar representing Kwara North Senatorial District, Alhaji Suleiman Mora Omar.
Died Tuesday night at 86, he was in the state civil service for 35 years. He was a one-time Secretary of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Board and a top bureaucrat,
Fagbemi noted that the credentials of late Omar testified that he lived a fulfilled life and endeared himself to his people who continue to appreciate his worth as a father to many other than his biological children and he meant a lot to the people of Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State where he was born in 1938.
Also described the late Omar as a pathfinder who trained his children to be patriotic and responsible citizens contributing to the socio-political and economic development of the nation as the eloquent testimony of an ideal father was seeing in his son the senator.
He therefore told the senator and other family members to take solace in the fact that their father left a positive footprints in the sand of time.
May God Almighty grant his soul eternal rest and grant all whom he left behind, fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”.
