KWARA SPEAKER, Rt. HON DANLADI CONDOLES KWARA DEPUTY GOVERNOR OVER MOTHER’S DEATH

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu sends heartfelt condolences to the State Deputy Governor; His Excellency Mr. Kayode Alabi on the passing of his mother; Mrs. Ena Maud Alabi at the ripe old age of 98.

Mrs. Alabi died today Friday 5th day of April, 2024.

“I have just received the news of the demise of Mrs. Ena Maud Alabi, nee Aljoe at the ripe age of 98, this is indeed the end of an era! Mama lived a good life using all she had to serve God and the people, she retired over forty years ago as a senior matron at the popular maternity at Amolegbe in Ilorin the state capital”, Rt. Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu noted in a statement issued on Friday.

“Jamaican by birth and Nigerian by registration, Mama Alabi was a woman of inestimable value who crossed the North American border to come and make positive impacts here in Nigeria and she did so excellently, she left behind worthy children who would carry on from where she stopped”

The Speaker while praying to God to rest the soul of Mama Alabi and grant her eternal rest urged His Excellency Mr Kayode Alabi and family to be comforted by the legacies left behind by their matriarch.
