The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Kwara State, Prince Sunday Adeniran Fagbemi on behalf of all members of the party across the three Senatorial District have congratulated the leader of the party in the state and the executive governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq on his 64th birthday today the fifth of February 2024.
The Chairman and the party rejoice and extend warm wishes in celebrating significant milestone in the life of an esteemed leader for a life defined by remarkable accomplishments and an unwavering focus on human capacity development and political mentorship.
The Governor’s dedication to improving the lives of the people is truly commendable, investments in healthcare, education, rural-urban development, water facilities, and workers’ welfare were so significant that emerging data had shown a wide gap between what he met in 2019 and the situation today.
The administration had also achieved a lot by working with development partners who had earlier left the state for lack of support and as at today no electoral ward in the state is without positive traces of the administration as different projects were commissioned at different locations which includes road, water, health, and education across the state.
Also, the government can boast of many ongoing projects that have been designed towards boosting the economic base of the state, examples are; visual arts centre, film factory, garment factory, innovation hub, and of course the international conference centre.
Projects like Osi-Obbo Ayegunle road, Ilesha Gwanara Road, the Tunde Idiagbon Bridge, Adeta-Yebumot Road, and the largest squash court in the country which is eight-winged, among many others.
Notably, you have not run foul on the welfare of the people, most especially you have been constant in prompt payment of salaries and entitlement of the Kwara State Civil Servants, emoluments of pensioners and retirees in the state as if it is not the same Kwara State that workers were owed several months salaries and other statutory allowances before your emergence as the governor.
Extolling your iconic administrative leadership style which reflects the admirable attributes and sagacity of your late sage, AGF of blessed memory. This leadership style has cultivated friendship for you across party lines and ethnic divides within and outside Nigeria
In the spirit of your birthday celebration, all of us at APC and true Kwarans honor and appreciate your accomplishments, and unwavering commitment to the development of the state and we are optimistic that you will continue to lead Kwara State towards greater heights.
On behalf of APC family across the state, it is my prayer that as you add another year to your life, God Almighty will imbue you with renewed strength and vigour, wisdom to continue to work in the best interest of Kwara State and most especially the entire country as you continue to perform your function as the chairman of the Nigerian Governor’s Forum.
