Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON on Friday met with the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed in New York.
The meeting was on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly.
AbdulRazaq was accompanied to the meeting by Chief Executive Officer of BUA Group Abdulsamad Rabiu.
Mohammed lauded the Kwara Governor for his effort in championing women inclusion in politics and governance in Nigeria.
Kwara State has a cabinet composed of 50 percent women.
The UN Deputy Secretary-General noted that Kwara has set a standard for other states to follow.
