The Obbo Ayegunle Descendant Union who converged at the All Progressive Congress Secretariat, GRA Ilorin, lauded the governor for delivering good governance, building infrastructure, particularly for the timely completion of the much needed Obbo Ayegunle road.
During the visit, the elders of the community, speak with one voice show their appreciation to the governor over his achievements, then went ahead to express their deep appreciation to Prince Fagbemi, for his selfless commitment to the development of the Obbo Ayegunle and also for defending the interest of the Obbo-Ayegunle rather than seeking personal gains from the government.
According to them, the Fagbemi Family has shown love for humanity and have used their influence in the government for the betterment of his community .
A statement by Chief Fagbemi, the APC chairman who received elders, praised the elders resolve to support the continuity of good works being done by the governor, promising that the administration would not relent in delivering good governance to the state at large. Hence he told them that the recent developments in the community during the few years of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak administration are clear indications that many more are still coming
He therefore thank his visitors for showing hearts of gratitude, and emphasized that his commitment to the development of Obbo-Ayegunle was not just as a result of his position as the APC chairman in the state, but rather it was what he saw as his responsibility and because of his love for humanity.
He therefore made it known to them that even if he refused to play his role, God would have found a way to accomplishing it through someone else.
Overall, the community of Obbo Ayegunle hinged their support on the good works of the administration across the state, saying it is imperative of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak continue beyond 2023.
