West African Youth Council has appointed the
Kwara Youngest Provost, Ibrahim Mukhtar Olayode Afonja RN. FCIPRMP as West Africa ECOWAS Youth Ambassador.
The appointment letter was signed on the 17th January, 2023 by Amb. Emmanuel S. William, the President/Chairperson of EYC.
This was contained in an appointment that “his antecedents laudable connection, dedication, hard work and diligence in the area of service to humanity, adding that his commendable works as an advocate and relentless crusader of promoting entrepreneurship for Africa youths.
Amb. Afonja & Provost Adewale Ibrahim College of Health Sciences Buari Kwara State in his acceptance speech, pledges to take the opportunity bestowed upon him by WAYC as an avenue to further promote Youth Development and Educate the Youth about how important their inclusion in Politics is in the society.
The West African Youth Council however wishes to see his positive impact to the organisation and region at large.
