Dr. Alimi AbdulRaham, the Mutawali of Ilorin was presented Posthumous Award on behalf of his late father, AbdulgGaniyu Folorunsho AbdulRazaq on the 11th of January, 2023.
The late A.G.F was the first Commissioner of Finance for Kwara State. He was also the first lawyer from the Northern part of Nigeria and the first Mutawali of Ilorin.
Late Abdulganiyu Folorunsho AbdulRazaq is also the father of Kwara State Governor, His Excellency AbdulRahmahn AbdulRazaq.
Late A.G.F lived a life worth emulating and his resilient prowess and people-centric energy when he was alive helped then and it’s still helping till present.
Late A.G.F was nominated alongside, Late Rear Admiral Muhammed Alabi Lawal, former governor of Kwara State, Late Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki, the Late Wazari of Ilorin and Late Justice Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi, former President of the Court of Appeal.
Owing to his numerous developmental strides and dynamic leadership style, he got the highest votes and emerged the winner of the Posthumous Awards at the KWARA Achiever’s Awards 2022.
Remilekun Emmanuel, the Publisher of Symbol Magazine and the organiser of “Kwara Achiever’s Award” presented the award his first son, his successor Dr. Alimi AbdulRazaq, the second Mutawali of Ilorin on behalf of his late father and the family.
