The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu says the government His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq would continue to prioritize the welfare of kwarans and the infrastructural development of the state.
Rt. Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu who stated this during an engagement session with the Fulani community under Ilesha/Gwanara state constituency in Gwanara gave an assurance that Governor AbdulRazaq would do more for the people during his second term in office.
“Since the coming of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, our government has done so well in all the sectors, especially in the areas of water, road, education, social investment program – Owo Isowo and Owo Arugbo among others which every Kwaran especially the Fulanis are major beneficiaries, the Bukuro to Gwanara road which was done by the present administration is serving everybody in this community and environs. The Governor does not discriminate, every tribe of the citizenry is important to him, the good news I have for you is that our amiable Governor is not done yet hence the need to support his reelection so that he can do more for us”
Consequently, the Speaker thanked the Fulanis for being peaceful members of the community and charged them to visit their respective political wards to pick up their PVCs before the collection deadline so that they can vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates from the top to the bottom in the forthcoming general election.
“I want to sincerely appreciate you all for the spirit of peaceful coexistence and togetherness with the people of other tribes and for pledging your support to our administration, we have no doubt in your words because you are trustworthy people. Therefore, I enjoin you all to go to your various political wards to collect your PVCs before the collection deadline so that you can vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed as President, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as Kwara Governor for a second term and all our National and House of Assembly candidates”
Stakeholders including the Emir of Gwanara who was represented by Boro Suru of Gobo, the Ardo Fulani of Baruten; Ardo Alhassan, Ardo of Ilesha district; Ardo Gide, Sarkin Fulani of Ilesha; Mallam Umar Ilesha, Makama Fulani of Ilesha; Alhaji Muhammdu Sani and others who spoke at the engagement session commended the administration of Governor AbdulRazaq and the humility and friendly disposition of Speaker Danladi to all which they noted made him different from other politicians.
They acknowledged the impacts of the present administration on the lives of the crizenry and gave an assurance that Governor AbdulRazaq and Speaker Danladi as well as the APC government would continue to have their unflinching support because according to them, “we have never had it so good”
