The Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has received congratulations from Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of his accession to the Sheikh Alimi throne.
“I congratulate His Royal Highness Mai Martaba, the Emir of Ilorin, on this historic achievement on behalf of the people and government of Kwara State. In addition to being peaceful, his rule has ushered in a new period of Ilorin’s prosperity and development. In a statement from the governor, it was stated that “under him, sons, daughters, and residents of Ilorin have gained unprecedented heights in leadership across many platforms of human endeavor, including in politics and the economy.
“As an administration, we are extremely appreciative of His Royal Highness for his assistance, wise counsel, and regal leadership, all of which have strengthened our efforts to promote growth. With his help, our administration is making the nation’s capital more attractive while also implementing sound sustainable living plans and creating new economic prospects.
“The Government congratulates Mai Martaba and the people of Ilorin on this anniversary, and we implore Almighty Allah to ease His Royal Highness’s troubles and grant him good health and honor forever,” the statement reads.
