On Monday, Ilorin’s Fate/Basin Junior and Senior Secondary School will host Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for a working visit.

The governor’s efforts to improve Kwara teachers’ welfare and abolish the geri-gedi wage, which he inherited from the previous administration, have continued to be praised by the teachers in the state. Due to his unprecedented investments in the education sector since taking office, they have also dubbed the governor the “Father of Basic Education.”

The distribution of 68,280 free textbooks to students in Kwara State public schools was just launched by AbdulRazaq, and work is still being done to repair over 600 dilapidated basic schools throughout the state.
