President Muhammadu Buhari has once more called security leaders together to discuss the results of the continuing war being waged against terrorists and other criminals throughout the nation.

The president would receive an update from the security chiefs on the different military operations being conducted in the nation to combat crime.

In the North East, North West, and other regions of the nation, the security agencies have been registering what have been called “amazing achievements” against terrorists and other criminals.

On October 8, 2022, a location in Kaduna State was the target of airstrikes by the Air Component of Operation Whirl Punch that neutralized a terrorist kingpin named Ali Dogo, also known as Yellow, and 30 of his own fighters.

Yellow and his fighters were bombed as they sought refuge in one Alhaji Gwarzo’s home in Yadi in the Giwa Local Government region of Kaduna state after fleeing a military assault from their hideout in Niger.

The military has recently seen success in its continuous campaign against terrorist organizations in the North-East region and other parts of the nation.

Some cabinet ministers, security chiefs, and presidential advisers are present during the security meeting.
