According to SymbolNewsAlert a Man Cut Off His Neighbor’s Wrist Because of His “Girlfriend.”

Usman Danladi “M,” also known as Murderer, has been detained by the Nasarawa State Police command for reportedly slicing off the wrist of Jibrin Abdullahi, 25, in Tudun Wada Area, Auta Balefi of Karu Local Government Area of the State.

The arrest, according to a statement made on Sunday by DSP Ramhan Nansel, Public Relations Officer for the Nasarawa State Police, was in response to intelligence about the attack that took place on Friday.

The suspect who was detained on Saturday, according to the PRO, has admitted to committing the crime.

The victim allegedly assaulted the suspect’s girlfriend, Aisha, before they got into a fight, the police official said.

According to the statement, “On September 16, 2022 at around 1600 hours, information was received that one Jibrin Abdullahi ‘M’ 25 years of age, a resident of Tudun Wada Area, Auta Balefi of Karu LGA, Nasarawa State, was attacked and had his wrist severed.

After learning of the incident, police officers from the Goshen City Division under the command of CSP Eunice Ogbadu went to the scene and transported the girl to the Federal Medical Center, Keffi, where she is currently receiving treatment.

“As a result, a thorough search for the villain behind the nefarious deed was launched. On September 17, 2022, the investigators’ work was rewarded when the primary suspect, one Usman Danladi ‘M’ 21yrs, A.K.A Murderer was arrested.

The victim allegedly assaulted the suspect’s girlfriend, Aisha, before they got into a fight, the police official said.

During questioning, the suspect admitted to committing the act but said that the victim had previously abused his girlfriend (Aisha), and when he confronted him, a struggle broke out, during which the victim was attacked with a machete.

“The case will be forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia, for additional investigation, after which the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution,” reads a statement from the commissioner of police, CP Adesina Soyemi.
