Rukayat Shittu, an APC candidate for the Kwara State House of Assembly in the Owode Onire district, sent her condolences to Hon. Mopelola AbdulMaliq-Bashir, the commissioner for women’s affairs, following the passing of her mother, Hajia Aminatu Ikudaisi AbdulMaliq.
Hajia Aminatu passed away on Thursday night in Ilorin and was buried according to Islamic customs.
The KWHA candidate visited the honorable commissioner on Friday morning and gave him a condolence message.
Rukayat remarked, “Though we all loved her, but Allah loves her most. She was disciplined, virtuous, and a mother to all.
Ours is to pray for her to enter Jannah and receive Allah’s Forgiveness.” said Rukayat.
While visiting the deceased’s home, Rukayat said that while we were shocked to learn of her passing, she prayed for Allah to “forget all her shortcomings and reward her good actions.”
