Another one after many years, work has now begun to replace the artificial turf at the Kwara State Stadium’s mainbowl with natural grass.
This will again qualify the facility to host international games like the ongoing CAF Championship in the state.
The artificial turf done in 2010 had a lifespan of eight years, meaning it had since expired and can’t be active any longer.
The ongoing efforts at the stadium are a collaboration between top sports financier, A.U. Mustapha, SAN and the Kwara State Government led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. #Isenlo #FourMoreWithAA
