History was made on 25th of September, 1972 when the fourth Turaki of Ilorin Emirate Mall Saliu Mustapha was born to the family of Alh Issa Mustapha, a well respected indigene of Ilorin East local government area kwara state.
Mall Saliu Mustapha a distinguish politician, successful businessman and outstanding entrepreneur and remarkable philanthropist was attended Bartholomew primary school in Zaria for his primary education and he proceeded to Command secondary School in kaduna for his secondary education.
He studies mineral resources engineering at the kaduna polytechnic.
Mall Saliu Mustapha has paid dues in the administration of political parties, Starting with the all people party (APP) in 1999 to the All Nigeria People’s party (ANPP) in 2003.
Mallam served. As an aide to the Senior Special Adviser to president Obasanjo on intra party from 2001-2002.
And he was National publicity secretary of the progressive liberation party (PLP).
In 2003 Turaki became the first National Chairman of progressive Action Congress (PAC).
In 2005 Mallam was appointed as the organizing secretary of the conference of Nigeria political parties (CNPP).
He also served as a National Ex- officio of the Congress for progressive change from where he rose impressively to the position of Deputy National Chairman of the CPC 2010.
Mall Saliu Mustapha is a chieftain of All progressive Congress (APC) and founded the Saliu Mustapha foundation for a positive impact on the people of Kwara State.
Mall Saliu Mustapha is a philanthropist who has contributed immensely to development of the community.
The Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, has Empowered the leader of tomorrow in the area of Education by sponsors them for WAEC, NECO, JAMB FORM and Scholarship.
Mallam has recorded so much impact in the lives of Old women and men as well on Young people by given them grants, seed capital for small and medium scale business.
