The Chairman of Traditional Rulers Council in Ekiti local government and Olosi of Osi, His Royal Highness Oba Salihu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku 1, people living with disabilities and others benefited from free medical outreach facilitated by Senator Oyelola Ashiru for people of Ekiti local government area in KWARA South Senatorial district.
Senator Oyelola Ashiru’s Aide, Olaitan Adeyanju with the Medical team while paying homage to Olosi of Osi, His Royal Highness Oba Salihu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe at his palace on Tuesday performed routine medical check up including BP test on the monarch.
The traditional ruler prayed for the team and commended the law maker for his intervention on health.
The Medical team comprising Doctors and Nurses later moved to Basic Health Centre, Osi where hundreds of people including people living with disabilities, women, aged and others benefited from the free medical outreach.
The health services rendered include Antenatal Care, Pelvic Inflammatory Diseases, Malaria, Peptic Ulcer Diseases, and Arthritis.
Free drugs were also given to patients with Hypertension, Diabetes and Defective Vision during the Free Medical Outreach facilitated by Senator representing Kwara South, Arch Oyelola Ashiru.
Our Correspondent who monitored the exercise reports that the remaining drugs were handed over to the health center.
Some of the beneficiaries commended Senator Ashiru for bringing the free medical outreach to their environment, noting that a lot of people appreciate the gesture.
Other set of beneficiaries would also benefit from the free medical outreach at Basic Health centre, Babalonma in Ifelodun local government area on Wednesday September 7, 2022.
