In the supreme realm of politics, your exploits are best judged by their enduring effects on other people, The greatest challenge in trying to put up elegant and convincing words to prove a point or gain a victory through argument is, to a large extent, delusional. In the end, you can never be so sure how much such verbal arguments or homilies have impinged on the people you are trying to win to your side.
They may seem to have agreed with you politely, but on the inside they may resent you because there is apparently no standing pillars of evidence upon which your verbal edifice is built.
For even the best argument has no solid foundation to dwell upon, because we have all come to distrust the slippery nature of words. Truth is best appreciated and believed when discerned by the eyes than heard by the ears. When words and argument come after all to explicate actions already taken, then we can agree that the ink is worth the paper.
Words can be so sweet and bitter. Their potency can make and mar. They can resolve the longest rift in human relationships, and tear apart the warmest friendship ever. No doubt there is power in words. But the strongest and most powerful words put together are not as potent and magnificent as a Demonstrated Proof.

Judging from his political mien for over 22 years now, Governor AA can best be typified as a man of Demonstrated Proof than a man of words and argument. From the beginning of his political escapade, he has founded his running philosophy on the bedrock of evidence seen and not on evidence heard.
Undoubtedly, the political stature of the super Governor has towered more than many of his contemporaries as Governor , not by vaunted verbal claims and promises, but by the dogged demonstration of truth through visual evidence. In other words, if you are not seeing it with your eyes then AA did not do it, or probably you have a problem with your vision.
Such is just the best way to epitomize the golden heart of Governor AA in dispensing the dividends of democracy to the People of Kwara State. Everywhere you turn to from Kwara South to Kwara Central and to Kwara North you will behold the presence of the equitable distribution of projects done by Governor AA. They are boldly standing in virtually every communities of the three senatorial district of Kwara State.
From rural and urban electrification to water projects, from educational and ICT infrastructures to primary health care, and from human capital to the attraction of federal government establishments, Governor AA has touched the lives of the good people of Kwara State through sterling developmental performances than anyone in history.
If all of the foregoing tells of the glowing actions of Governor AA as a first timer in office then he needs our support for second term in office.
I know, that some people on the other side of the political divide in Kwara State, abhors the truth. Even while they glaringly see the truth with their eyes, they still pose arguments to oppose it. The reason is because they thrive only on the philosophy of WORDS without ACTIONS.
They wallow only in the sea of ARGUMENT EVIDENCE. And the overall gimmick is just to distract the people and cover their tracks. To dwell only in the realm of deception and lies to prove a point they can never substantiate with a Demonstrated Proof.
It is their way of life. It is their political culture. They know how best to invoke the fantasy of words, emotions and arguments to beguile the people. And the gullible have followed them sheepishly; turning round and round in one circle of doom, and seeing nothing useful as a Demonstrated Proof to live a life that is worthwhile.
Thus, disparaging and casting aspersion on Governor AA is only an effort in futility. The more you try to drag him to the mud with your vitriolic words and argument, the more his Demonstrated Proofs vindicate him and turn against you. For he who throws ashes in the face of a rising wind will surely be smeared by the same ashes from his hands.
Just look around you now and be sure, for there is a man amongst them all, who is resolute to join hands with those who share the same vision and Ideology with him, to Build A New Kwara. This man is His Excellence Governor Abdul Rahman. Is agenda for Kwara is non-negotiable, for no man can kill an idea whose time has come.
