The Kwara Progressive Media Organization (KPMO) today 24th July 2022 held an interactive session with Dr. Toba Oloyede, the Federal House of Representatives aspirant for Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara State.
The zoom interactive session which focuses on youth participation in politics, governance, and the party reconciliation process towards the success of APC in the 2023 general elections was anchored by one of its members and digital media expert, Oluwatobi Mathew.
Dr. Toba in his opening remarks spoke extensively about his early life, education, career, and how his political journey started in 2011 in Kwara State.
“My call to politics was not just an accident for me but was borne out of the passion to impact, develop and enable millions of people in the society to have access to basic social amenities that will better their lives”, he said.
He further elucidates the need for the youth to get involved, take charge and to make critical contributions to politics and governance at all levels as it is one of the greatest sacrifices we can offer to the present generation and the yet to come.
Dr. Toba oloyede while commending the good work of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq across the state in his effort towards rebuilding the state also admonished him to take charge of the reconciliatory process amongst aggrieved party members to achieve the victory desired in the 2023 polls.
“Regardless of the outcome of the primaries, I am not leaving the party. I can assure you, that my entire structure is 100 percent with the Governor and the party, and we’ll work together for the success of the party come 2023”, he said.
The convener of the Organization, Usman Lade while speaking at the event appreciated Dr. Toba Oloyede for honouring the organization’s invitation and also salute his commitment, loyalty, and spirit of sportsmanship towards the leadership of the Kwara State All Progressive Congress (APC).
