Photos of DCP Abba Kyari, others in court for arraignment over drug deal has emerged.
Suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari and six others have been taken to the Federal High Court in Abuja, where they will be arraigned today.
Armed operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) brought them into the courtroom in two batches of four and two around 8 a.m.
Kyari was driven into court in a bus with one other defendant and one other defendant, while the other four were driven in two Hylux vans. They are currently seated in the courtroom, waiting for the judge to arrive so that the day’s proceedings can begin.
Abba Kyari and the other six defendants will be arraigned on the NDLEA’s eight-count charge.
