The Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has congratulated Muslims all over the world on the completion of the Ramadan fast and the 1445 Idul Fitr celebration.
Rt. Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu in a statement issued on Monday called on the faithful to internalize the lesson and essence of Ramadan and sustain its virtues beyond holy month.
He congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Sarkin Musulumi in the state; Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, Governor of the state His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, and all the Muslims across the state on the peaceful and successful completion of the religious act.
“Idul Fitr felicitations to our Royal father Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, our highly respected traditional and religious leaders as well as my dear brothers and sisters in Islam, may Almighty Allah accept all our acts of worship during the scared month and beyond”, the Speaker said.
“It is imperative for us as Muslims to internalize the great lessons the month of Ramadan has taught us and carry them on beyond the sacred month, it is also important to continue to support our leaders with prayers for them to successfully tackle our challenges and take us to the promised land”
Rt. Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu asks all Muslims to pray earnestly to the Almighty Allah for peace, security and development in Kwara State and Nigeria.
