APC Chairman, Kwara State, Prince Sunday Adeniran Fagbemi has offered his “warmest greetings” to the Muslims who are observing the holy month of Ramadan in Kwara and across the country as the new crescent moon brings in the holy month of Ramadan, I send my warmest greetings to His Excellency, the executive governor of Kwara State, and the Chairman, Nigerian Governor’s Forum, Mallam AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq, all Muslim Kwarans and others observing the month of fasting around the world.
It is a time in which families and communities come together for iftars and prayers in festive gatherings that demonstrate the rich and diverse traditions of Muslim societies and cultures.
Muslims honor each day of Ramadan as a day of patient endurance through fasting, and each night as a night of gratitude through prayers.Ramadan is also a period during which God accepts prayers and also a time for spiritual reflection and rebirth, sacrifice and kindness, as well as increased devotion and worship
On this note, I urge Kwarans of both faiths (Muslims and Christians) to use the Ramadan period to pray and work towards unity, security and economic advancement of our dear state.
Once again I felicitate the Muslim in Kwara and the world over on the commencement of the month-long fasting.
