The Olusin of Isanlu Isin, Dr Oba Olugbenga Solomon Oloyede, has endorsed Rep Tunji Olawuyi, member representing Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara for another term.
Oba Oloyede announced the endorsement on Thursday when Rep Olawuyi paid the Isin Traditional Council a visit to solicit for support ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Even though, the traditional ruler lamented that there is plenty to be done in Isin, he said the council will vote Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Rep Olawuyi and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the state.
Oba Oloyede who prayed for another term in office after endorsing him, he appealed to the chairman House Committee on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness to make the local government a priority.
An APC Stalwart in Isin, Dr Toba Oloyede while making his remark said he is fully with the party and Rep Olawuyi.
He urged the traditional rulers to avoid any act that can portray the council as against the state government, adding that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has done well to deserve another term.
Earlier the chairman of Irepodun Traditional Council and the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu, commended Rep Olawuyi, for his good representation.
Oba Alebiosu, made the commendation on Thursday in Ajase-Ipo when the Lawmaker paid them a visit to solicit for support ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Olupo thanked the chairman House Committee on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness for his people oriented projects across the Federal Constituency.
The Traditional Ruler thereafter, urged his followers not to mislead him with their suggestions and call on them to avoid any act inimical to the peace and tranquility that abound the local government.
